More than 85 years on the South Shore

Perched on spectacular Summerville Beach — over a kilometre and a half of pristine white sand — the Quarterdeck has been a beloved travel destination for more than 85 years. Centrally located on Nova Scotia's South Shore, we're just 1.5 hours from Halifax, Yarmouth, and Annapolis Royal.

For nearly a century, the Quarterdeck has been evolving. From its origins as a roadside canteen serving hot dogs, to earning a reputation as the South Shore's foremost destination for authentic maritime hospitality and fresh, inspired Nova Scotian cuisine.

As a proud Taste of Nova Scotia member, our Grill is focused on serving up traditional flavours and new favourites — with an eye on sustainability and local sourcing.
